Create a checkout rule
PayTune provides ready-to-use checkout rules for shipping methods, payment methods, and fulfillment locations. Choose a rule, review its settings, and enable it to apply it to your store.
1. Select a rule
In your Shopify admin, open PayTune and go to Checkout rules.
Under Popular rules, browse the available rules or use the search bar to find one.

2. Configure the rule
Open your selected rule’s settings to review the available options.
Adjust the configuration to suit your store, then save your changes. If the existing settings meet your needs, you can enable the rule directly from the Popular rules list.
3. Enable the rule
Return to Popular rules and turn on the toggle next to your selected rule.
Rules are disabled by default. Make sure the toggle is on before testing the rule at checkout.
4. Test your checkout
Open your storefront, add products to the cart, and proceed to checkout. Use a cart and checkout details that match the rule’s configuration.
For example, to test Reorder Shipping Methods by Lowest Price:
- Add a product that requires shipping to your cart.
- Proceed to checkout and enter a shipping address.
- Use an address where at least two shipping methods with different prices are available.
- Confirm that the shipping methods appear from the lowest price to the highest price.
If the result does not match your expectations, review the rule’s settings and confirm that it is enabled.
Disable a rule
To stop applying a rule, go to Checkout rules > Popular rules and turn off its toggle.
